The Maleny Manor site has won yet another prestigious award, this time a Gold Medal from the Australian Web Designers Network for February 2006.

Easy listening country music star, Paul McCloud has released a new album – “Essential Collection”. The CD features Paul’s originals as well as loved favourites.

On the album, Paul is accompanied by keyboardist, Peter Horan and pedal steel and dobro artist, Hank Koopman.

The amazing family entertainer, Mike Jackson has just released his new album, “Singing in the Night Time” – a swag of ukulele tunes presented with verve in a sing along style.

Consisting of 18 all time favourites, the CD features Mike performing with the rest of his talented family – wife Diane and sons Ciaron and Tom.

The Noosa Wedding Ring has expanded its unique wedding packages.

View the spectacular painted mannequins by Ria Clauss, which are displayed in the ‘flesh’ at the Body Canvas Exhibition currently running at the Cooroy Butter Factory from the 13th to the 22nd January. The theme of the exhibition is “From the Goddess to the Unadorned … the Introspective to the Extrovert”.

Mary Jo Stodola is Centauri Designs, creating elegant one-off made to order jewellery sets of necklaces and earrings.

For her, Sibagraphics has produced a business cards and fashion label, with a business card as well for Mary Jo’s other enterprise, Centauri Readings, an astrological consultancy.

Today I spent with Noosa fashion designer, Maggie Shannon, organising her online store and beginning the site optimisation process.

Maggie has a fabulous eye for flattering clothing and uses only the best fabrics, including liberty prints and pure cotton jersey for her quality crafted garments. I found the detail and sheer workmanship that goes into her clothes inspiring – both her physical and online stores are well worth a visit.

During 2006, Mana Puppets will be touring Ireland with their new show, the Backpackers Down Under Puppet Show – The Three Little Pigs Go Bush. Hugh and Ros Childers are experienced teachers as well as puppeteers and are available for pre school, kindergarten and primary schools bookings.
